![]() To leave a legacy behind for my son Shiloh was also one of the many motivating factors behind my story. Because I needed a book that could encompass a multitude of different lessons, all in one book. I felt that it was imperative to write a longer children’s book like Shiloh and Dande the Lion (that went against what industry standards said was the “norm”). Therefore, when you put the words Shiloh and Dande the Lion together (while breaking up the phrase dandelion), it means a boy seeking peace while overcoming challenges after making a wish. But something else that’s very important about a dandelion flower is that it represents overcoming challenges. ![]() ![]() ![]() The dandelion flower symbolizes many things, including getting your wishes fulfilled and joy. Shiloh ultimately means peace, and Shiloh is also my sons’ name. ![]()
